When we put Kyle on the plane to go work at Camp Forest Springs for the summer, we didn’t know we’d have the privilege of helping him transition into college this fall.

Emmanuel Faith Community Church Work Team
We had three very large work teams this summer each having more than 20 people! I’m just sorry that I don’t have a group shot of this great college-aged group from Escondido, California.

Summer Camps at El Monte
Last winter, when I was traveling in the upper Midwest to share VISION 2010 El Monte, I was sharing all the things that we are asking God for this year. The formal list contains 10 specific items for the development of the El Monte project. God has provided in amazing ways! I’ll be sharing pictures of the progress in upcoming blog posts.
But, one of the most important requests I made as I talked with each church and group was that people pray and ask God to bless our summer camp ministry. We could not afford to make mistakes that would hurt the development of this new ministry. We needed something to really work and reach the hearts of Mexican youth! God has answered in a powerful way!

Vamos a Cantar
Con la Musica del Cielo
This song translated means, “We’re going to sing with the music of heaven!” It became the theme song of our summer youth camps and of the Grace Church Roseville, MN work team that came in July.
